When to Seek Help

Hello, travelling soul

Sometimes the most powerful act of self-love is knowing when your inner flame needs extra support from those trained to hold space alongside your spiritual journey.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness — it is an act of profound courage and deep self-honouring. This page exists to help you gently recognise when your current practices (rituals, meditations, self-care, or energy work) can be lovingly complemented by professional mental health support.

  • You might notice some of these feelings or experiences:

    • Persistent low mood, emptiness, or numbness that lingers for weeks

    • Anxiety or racing thoughts that make daily life feel overwhelming

    • Sleep changes — too little, too much, or restless nights

    • Loss of interest in things that once brought you joy or connection

    • Feeling disconnected from your spiritual path or “the flame within”

    • Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making small decisions

    • Physical symptoms with no clear medical cause (tension, fatigue, stomach issues)

    • Thoughts of self-harm, hopelessness, or that the world would be better without you

    • Using substances, food, or behaviours more than usual to cope

If even a few of these feel familiar, please know this: you are not broken. You are simply a soul who has carried a lot — and it’s okay to ask for help carrying it now.

  • Professional support (counsellors, psychologists, doctors, or crisis services) works in beautiful harmony with spiritual practices. Many people find that therapy, medication (when needed), and spiritual tools together create the strongest foundation for healing.

Important Note! The information on this website, including all spiritual teachings, rituals, and resources, is offered for educational, spiritual, and self-empowerment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis or feeling unsafe, please reach out to a trained professional immediately.
